i've just been to the concert, and it was nothing short of an amazing, incredible experience. It was my first concert, and i won't be forgetting it in a while. If i could, if they would, i would've sat there all night. I would do it again in a heartbeat! i haven't been this happy in quite a bit.

the following is the set list, which is possibly jumbled out, cause they played so many songs (great stuff!). they played a great mix of old and new stuff, was really surprised. i tried my best to remember and list it in order:

Jason McGerr was a monster on drums, you half expected him to yell, ringo-style, 'ive got blisters on my fingers'. tremendous solo midway during styrofoam plates. Chris Walla was a ball of energy, playing like a man possessed! Nick Harmer was more contained, although he had his moments, providing a good foil for the rest of the band. Of course, Ben Gibbard was a charming, thoughtful presence. he must've said thank you a million times. Oh, and a lot thinner than i thought.
