Took the personality test, and according to it i am an ISTP. Well, I don't really agree with. But i'm gonna post it anyway, to let ming read, and hopefully let some of you guys debate.

ISTP stands for Introverted, Sensing, Thinking, Perceiving.

Recommended occupations: Computer Programming, Engineer, Technology Education, Mechanics, Law, Counselling, Librarian.

Now anyone who knows me knows the first four occupations are crap, because i'm lousy in physics and i have no interest in engineering and such.

Now i shall summarise their description:

1. Like their fellow SPs, ISTPs are fundamentally Performers, but as Ts their areas of interest tend to be mechanical rather than artistic.

That is really off the mark. Nope i don't like games, computers or cars. Yes i like my films and music and art.

2. They lie dormant, saving their energy until a project worthy of their time comes along- and launch themselves at it.

Now that's pretty accurate. See sarah, i'm not always sleeping. I'm just 'saving my energy'.

3. Because they need such a lot of flexibility to be spontaneous as they feel, they become as inflexible when someone be threatens their lifestyle (although they usually respond with a rage which is vivid contrast to their impassive mode)

Pretty accurate! Especially the rage part. Heh don't make me angry. Roar!

4. Communication tends to be an issue, since they express themselves non-verbally. When they do verbalize, they are masters of the one-liner, often showing flashes of humor in tense situations; resulting in their being seen as thick-skinned or tasteless.

Hey it's not thick-skinned and tasteless ok! Still pretty accurate stuff, especially the one liners part.

5. Often gravitate towards classes in industrial arts...mechanics and any of the skilled trades are traditional choices.

I'm afraid its grossly inaccurate. I take history. Not chem or physics, or mechanics or something. And skilled trades? Like what, embroidery?

6. They are at their best in a crisis, where their natural disregard for rules and authority allows them to focus and tackle the emergency at hand in the most effective way.

I like the sound of this! Haha, but i'm not sure if it's entirely accurate. I agree i'm best in a crisis, but i don't disregard rules and authority, i think. Well it's all relative.

7. While aware of the dangers involved, they are so in touch with the physical world that they know they can get away with much smaller safety margins than other types.

I have to disagree slightly and say i'm generally 'safety first' kinda person. ALTHOUGH, i do possess the thirst to 'get away with smaller safety margins'.
